Welcome to Hemlock Pines Pomsky! My name is Amanda Smathers, and I’m the breeder behind this beautiful Western Pennsylvania-based business. Growing up, my family raised Shetland Sheepdogs in an AKC setting. Now that I have retired from teaching and my husband has left the Marine Corps, we are proud to raise Embark genetically tested CKC and IPA registered pomskies. We are a certified member of the International Pomsky Association as well as the Pomsky Owners Association – so you can trust us to provide you with nothing but high quality puppies!
At Hemlock Pines, we keep our litters small – typically only one or two per year – and all of our puppies are raised right in our home alongside us as part of our family. We use Puppy Culture Method for training purposes starting at 3 weeks old; when they go home with their new families, they’ll already be potty trained! All of our F1’s and F2’s come pre-spoiled and socialized according to conformation standards, temperament guidelines, & good health practices. Each puppy also comes with a contract plus genetic guarantee & health certificate for your peace of mind – not to mention lifetime breeder support from me personally just in case you need it down the line!

I’m proud to say that out of all these experiences three of my Pomskies are titled in Obedience – two of which hold championships.
